San Clemente is a wonderful coastal community filled with all styles of homes ranging in all ages over the past 150 years. There is an emphasis on keeping the Spanish appeal that was envisioned by the Ole Hanson in the 1920s. Ole Hanson called the city Spanish Village by the Sea.

San Clemente borders the cities of San Onofre  to the south, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano to the north, the Pacific Ocean to the west.

San Clemente was originally colonized by the Juaneno native people. The city was effectively uninhabited until 1776 when Mission San Juan Capistrano was established by Father Junipero Serra.   Afterfounding the Mission San Juan Capistrano, many of the local San Clemente natives worked for the mission.

In 1928 the city was incorporated and is located at the most southwest portion of Orange County. The population was 63,522 at the 2010 census.
